Catalyst Recovery
Many industrial processes such as the production of Nitric Acid and Hydrogen Peroxide employ the use of expensive catalyst materials to speed reaction times and facilitate chemical changes. Filtration systems are installed to recover as much of the expensive catalyst material as possible.
The majority of catalyst recovery systems employ disposable filter elements which are 100% compatible with the process fluid or gas, and which collect the catalyst carried over from the reactor. Once the filter elements have collected sufficient catalyst, they are removed from service and the catalyst material recovered.
